Once daughter went back to school we didn’t do any more revision as going back to school was tiring enough. I remember keeping everything as normal as possible so as not to make it a big deal about it. DD went to her usual swim session, had a piano lesson on the Sat and her sports class Sunday morning and then we watched a Barbie movie (the old ones with music to them, before The Barbie movie).
One of the tests (Kent) was a Saturday morning and a bit of a drive which meant getting up even earlier than she would on a school day but not by too much. We had planned to go out for lunch after but the test centre was chaotic so didn’t finish until about 2pm (we’d been there for an 8am registration for a 9am test which didn’t start until much later due to ID checking etc Athena on top of that delay due to lack of available toilets the break time between main test and creative writing was extended too. We ended up getting a supermarket meal deal we were so hungry!
On the day she had a test in the afternoon (Bexley) she went to school in the morning and we picked her up at lunchtime.
