Thank you, was worried if I misinterpreted the school & local authority's admission policy.Putting them in a specific position on the CAF would make no difference to your chance of getting a place, likely that everyone who put it 4th got offered a place at a school higher up their CAF. If your top 3 schools reject you then it will be as though Newstead is your first choiceHi all
We were planning to move anyway to be closer to school that we got accepted so putting some other choice above Newstead. NW is preferred no. 4 (all other options required moving into catchment), we are within 9 miles and DD got >250. If all of our preference got rejected (which are likely as we are not in their catchment), will she got admitted for NW. Was scared when looking at historical data in FOI when no admission for preferred option no. 4
