Hello
I have posted previously, but when my eldest was quite young.
He is currently in Year 3. What should I be doing to prepare him for the Bucks 11+.
He is quite able in maths but needs work on English and apparently 75% of the Bucks 11+ is based on English (please let me know if this is incorrect).
He is reading at pearl label level at school (which I think are Year 6 books) and at home he loves reading David Walliams. He is approximately 18 months ahead in maths.
We do the bond papers at home and he is ok at them. He doesn't like doing English or comprehension papers. However, he flies through verbal and non-verbal reasoning papers.
Is there anything else we should be doing? Any games/book you recommend? Especially any other fiction?
Thank you in advance.
