Hi,
I submitted my appeal back in March with as much evidence as I could and I'm still waiting for a hearing date.
At the time of submitting my appeal I also wrote to the chair of governors of the school as they didn't ask about special adjustments or sen on the sif form and their special arrangement guidelines said that the adjustment had to be confirmed in the normal way of working at the current primary school. In my letter I explained how this wasn't the case for my daughter and that it is a blanket policy and I would hope that they would change it to reflect every child with sen.
Although I've received no response, I have looked today and they have changed it, the sif form now asked if they have a sen diagnosis and a page just on adjustments! And the special needs guidelines has its wording changed to 'normally a child would have in the way of working at their current school' instead of must!
Will it now help if I send the old sif form and special arrangement guidelines and the new ones to the appeal panel to see that they have now changed this? Thanks
