Please don't worry. It's not as scary as people think! Pick out a few bits of your presentation that are vital... If you have extenuating circs then go into those in a bit more detail.
They will have read everything that is important and relevant. For example if you have included a full Ofsted report for your child's allocated school (that you don't think is suitable because...) they may not have read that. If you have included an EdPsych report and highlighted the stuff you want them to read, you can bet your life they will read the rest.
You will not be the first to cry and you certainly won't be the last! You will have time to compose yourself, and the panel will understand that this is a difficult situation.
Good luck - and remember there are always in-year tests for year 8 if you are unsuccessful. There doesn't have to be a place available - anyone can appeal for any school at any time (only once per academic year though).
