We went to CRGs open day yesterday and was very impressed. In contrast, Kegs seems to have little interest in their open days, there was no display in subject rooms and not much interaction for kids, only two people allowed for a family (why can't both parents go? I don't understand), it's very difficult to have any feel of the school after the visit.
We've also learnt Kegs does early GCSE and divides children into sets - which we are not very keen on. CRGs doesn't do early GCSE and doesn't have sets either.
To us it looks like the two schools have very different ethos, we would like to hear other parents' opinion about their experience. We are close to Kegs but I am not sure if it's the right school for DS...CRGs will be an hour on coach everyday.
Many thanks,
