CGP has been useful for Bucks and seems relevent for GL, there are also different varitiations : “work books” for tesching the actual “ syllabus “ (question types) and “tests” (ten minute tests are great for quick-screening for any knowledge gaps, and for building up speed as you get closer to the tests. Do them without a time limit to start with.
CGP do 9-10 (year 4) and 10-11 (year 5) difficulty versions for a lot of their 10 minute test books. these can be a good introduction for them, used without any timer initially, and see how they find them.
CGP books are “write in” but the newer ones also have access to online resources, and their mock test papers come with answersheets to mimic the exam (think the others do too)
