Hi All,
We are currently living in Burnham but We will be moving to Maidenhead this July 2024 because there are really good independent schools and we will putting both of our DS in an independent school.
My concern now is My elder DS will be doing her 11+ exams in September 2024.
If my elder DS passes her exam, I can see that Sir William Borlace and Wycombe High grammar schools are in our catchment. But not sure if she will really get a place offered as we will be moving only this July.
Also another options we are thinking is these independent schools said she can scholarships (because of 11+, extra curricular activities etc) and we also heard Newlands Girl's school is really outstanding as a state school.
I am in dilemma now and in confused state now, will she get a place offered in WHS or SBW because of the last move? Which one is a better school? Not only in terms of education and curriculum but environment wise, how supportive etc
I would love to hear some insights from parents who lived in Maidenhead, how did you choose schools, which schools did your children go etc
Thanks in advance
